„Children need love, home and security in order to develop and thrive. In a Christian environment, child- ren learn that a sense of community is important in society, and that everyone is able to contribute towards a harmonious social climate.“

Through her own experience in her homeland, Jocelyn has always understood that not everyone grows up in the same conditions. As a child she had already witnessed a great deal of poverty, and had always wished to be in the position to be able to make a significant differ- ence. Her parents, particularly her lawyer father who had had similar experiences, taught Jocelyn from a young age that the basic premise of sharing is critical to a good and just world.

As an English teacher, the education and nurturing of children is a subject that lies particularly close to Jocelyn’s heart.

Due to her background and the contacts she made, together with her frequent visits to the Phillipines, Jocelyn has learnt how donations can be best put to use.

Günter Pilarsky is a successfull businessman, but even with his success he never forgot that there are people who are less fortunate than himself. Through his many years of intensive professional experience in Armenia, he saw much suffering (for example, through a shortage of basic medical supplies.)

As the Honorary Consul of Armenia, Günter Pilarsky knows exactly where relief is most urgently needed.

„Education lies at the foundation of every per- son’s future. That is why it is so important to oversee the development of child- ren from as early on as kindergarten. Furthermore, it is imperative that a solid education in schools and workshops is made avail able to young people, in order to allow them the opportunity to become integrated and independent citizens in their respective countries.“
